Kevin J. Andersen joins the Music Office staff after two years as bass soloist/section leader. Mr.Andersen made his professional debut with Connecticut Opera as the Speaker in Mozart’s Magic Flute after several seasons as a principal member of the chorus. In addition to his work with the Opera, Mr. Andersen maintains an active concert schedule and has performed with Gaudeamus, Connecticut Choral Artists, and their chamber ensemble, the Consort. He has held bass soloist/section leader positions at several Hartford area churches including Christ Church Cathedral, Trinity Episcopal, Asylum Hill Congregational, and most recently, St. Joseph’s Cathedral. He has served on the voice faculty of the Hartt School Community Division and is currently on the faculty of the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts.
